INGREDIENTS
(FOR 750 G)
1 plain yogurt (this container will serve as your measuring cup)
2 cups of granulated sugar
3 cups of flour
1 packet of baking powder (approx. 11g)
3 eggs
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 packet of vanilla sugar (approx. 8g)
1 pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F / Gas Mark 4).
2. Mix the base: In a bowl, combine the yogurt, sugar, flour, baking powder, and melted butter. Add the eggs and mix well after each addition. Incorporate the vanilla sugar and salt. Stir until the batter is smooth and consistent.
3. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake tin. Bake for 50 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a knife; the blade should come out clean. If not, bake for another 10 minutes.
