Creamy Egg Salad Dressing / Tartar-style Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 200 g natural yogurt (plain Greek-style works well)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 pickled cucumber (gherkin), finely chopped
  • A few spring onions (green onions), finely chopped
  • Fresh dill, chopped (to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the natural yogurt and mayonnaise.
  2. Add the finely chopped pickled cucumber, spring onions, and fresh dill.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.

Serving suggestion: This versatile sauce is perfect served with boiled eggs, as a dressing for potato salad, with grilled fish, chicken, or as a dip for fresh vegetables.

Tip: For the best flavor, let the sauce sit in the fridge for 15–30 minutes before serving so the flavors can meld.
